Elementary Field Science - Plans for Summer 2015

 

Jessie Scott Anderson is working on an Elementary Field Science class for Summer 2015.  It will be for students entering or leaving 4th grade.  

When: June 22-26, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Tuition: $100/student for the week

Begins 4/13/15 and ends 5/1/15 Only the first 20 forms will be accepted, the rest will be waitlisted Payment deadline for first 20, after notification, is 5/15/15 There are a limited number of scholarships available

Creepy-crawly hunt, plant identification, pressed-flower bookmark Day 3: Casper Mountain Geology

Rock collection, stratigraphy demonstration, mud sculptures

Day 4: Bates Creek Riparian and Sagebrush Bi-ology

Aquatic insect hunt, measure streamflow

Day 5: Alcova Area Geology and Paleontology

Fossil collection, formations, stratigraphy, collections review and presentation
